1. The Open – Portrush – 14th – 21st July
By far the biggest event of the summer, (and the talking point of the country since it was announced) the 148th Open is returning to Northern Ireland after 70 years. Whether you are a golf fanatic or not, this is the event of the year and is guaranteed to cater to more than just the die-hard sports fans.

2. Dalriada Festival – Glenarm Castle – 13th – 14th July
